Białas became Legia`s coach! Trzeciak and Vicuna left the club!

As we informed you few hours ago, due to unsatisfying results Jan Urban has been recently sacked by Legia's board. These are not the only changes that have been made within last few hours at Łazienkowska. Urban's assistant, Jose Antonio Vicuna, handed his resignation to the board which has accepted it. Mirosław Trzeciak handed his resignation, too. The new coach of Legia became Stefan Białas who is going to lead the team to the end of the current season.

There was a meeting between Leszek Miklas and Jan Urban on Sunday. Jan Urban was informed by Miklas that Legia's owners had decided to dissolve the contract with a spot execution.

Members of the board also decided to accept Trzeciak's resignation. "Mr. Trzeciak wasn't the member of the coaching staff and he doesn't bear responsibility for the recent results. However, he held himself responsible for the current situation of the team" – we can read in the club's official announcement.

The new coach, Stefan Białas, is going to lead Legia's training on Monday and will go with the team to Chorzów on Tuesday.
Due to Trzeciak's resignation, Marek Jóźwiak is going to take up his duties as sporting manager.
